Grace to You TV & Mobile Apps

Grace to You, the broadcast ministry of Pastor John MacArthur, reaches millions through its radio, TV, and digital content. Their mobile and Apple TV apps had outgrown a templated platform and needed a redesign to match the scale and reputation of their ministry. We partnered with GTY’s internal team to design and develop a fully custom suite of frontend OTT apps—rebuilding their mobile and TV experience to improve content discovery, streamline navigation, and deliver a branded experience worthy of their global reach.

I served as lead engineer for the OTT components, collaborating with GTY’s in-house backend team to bring our high-fidelity prototypes to life across mobile and Apple TV. Our frontend work included tailored interfaces for sermon archives, video and audio playback, a 24/7 livestream, and even article and devotional content—uncommon in most OTT platforms. Completed in under 9 months, the result was a polished, stable, and fully custom cross-platform experience that now serves as a modern digital gateway for GTY’s vast library of teaching content.
